Supporting Children’s Agency

We’re developing a new professional development course designed to help educators, caregivers, parents, and childcare professionals support young children’s agency using the Markers of Agency™ (MOA) framework.

The course will feature:

• Video examples of children from around the world showing agency in everyday learning.
• Practical materials to support both individual reflection and collective growth.
• Tools and strategies to help adults create environments where children’s voices, choices, and leadership are recognized and nurtured.

This course is grounded in real experiences and designed to be culturally responsive, helping adults reimagine how they support children’s learning in powerful and inclusive ways.
